Assessing the possibility of a rational method for reducing elastic vibrations of the mobility links of industrial manipulators. The research was conducted through computer simulation of the mechanical components of a multi-link manipulator. The dependences of the resonant frequencies and amplitude of oscillations in a three-mass mechanical system of a multi-link manipulator are determined with different rigidity of its moving links and different settings of the control system of an asynchronous electric drive. The research showed that increasing the stiffness by thickening the walls of the manipulator's links results in a significant increase in the inertia parameters of the object and drive power, while reducing the manipulator's efficiency. Therefore, an effective method for reducing vibration amplitudes in elastic transmissions of multi-link mechanisms is the application of compensatory control methods with electric drives
