The issues of overheating protection of brushless motors for intermittent operation are considered. Due to the insufficient efficiency of built-in (in the motors) thermal sensors, the use of an electronic I2T method of thermal protection has been proposed. The features of the implementation of the electronic method of thermal protection by modern motion controllers are considered. It is shown that the use of this method requires preliminary experiments directly on the mechanism. Recommendations are given for the choice of key thermal parameters of brushless motor for user application. The results of the functioning of thermal protection in the intermittent mode are presented.References
