Abstract

The work is a continuation of a series of articles that consider the use of open source software Gmsh&GetDP for computer simulation of electrotechnical devices. The validity of partial solutions of electrostatic problems obtained in practice by grid methods using the software Gmsh&GetDP is evaluated. The results of calculations and comparisons for test problems of electrostatics are presented. The efficiency of using Gmsh&GetDP software for solving electrostatic problems in three-dimensional formulation is shown. Numerical model has been developed and calculation of electrostatic field of voltage multiplier of high-voltage resonant power supply for technological installations of electron-beam welding has been performed.
